Centre Profile For parents who work in Auckland’s busy CBD, Lollipops Educare in Auckland Central provides a warm, welcoming centre where their children are always in view! Each room in the centre is equipped with webcams that allow parents to view and share in their children’s day. Located in Albert Street, Lollipops Auckland Central is ideal for mums who work in the city and wish to breastfeed their baby during a lunch break, or to just pop in and join their child for lunch.
Separate Areas for Under and Over Two's Littlies under the age of two can enjoy two separate areas that are full of fun activities to encourage exploration and discovery. A quiet sleep area is furnished with full sized cots and soft fairy lights in the ceiling that help little ones drift off into a blissful sleep. Outside, our wee explorers continue their adventures with a sand pit, water play, and a construction zone.
Getting to know each other We have an open door policy and encourage parents/caregivers to spend time at the centre getting to know our educators and the routines that we incorporate into our programme. We believe it is important to understand and support your values and beliefs within a nurturing learning environment. Our outdoor areas have been designed so that each age group can enjoy sun-safe, fun activities where learning comes naturally and confidence grows every day. Nutritious Meals Our on-site cook provides children with delicious morning and afternoon teas and lunches that are nutritionally balanced and varied. Staff Auckland Central’s Lollipops Educare centre is committed to employing the best possible educators for your children. We maintain excellent staff ratios and invest heavily in continuing education and professional development. 24 staff members contribute to a rich cultural diversity within centre. We have teachers from England, Korea, Japan, China, India, South Africa and Sri Lanka! This means that children who speak English as a second language are likely to have a teacher who can assist and help them feel settled and secure.
