ChildcareOnline respects each individual's right to personal privacy.  We will collect and use information through our website only in the ways disclosed in this statement.  This statement applies solely to information collected at the www.childcareonline.co.nz website. We will not sell your personal information or make it available to any third party.

ChildcareOnline collects information through our website at several points.  We collect the following information from primary visitors:

We collect this information through collection methods, such as contact forms, and reservation forms. The information is collected voluntarily to enable us to provide a service, and to keep in contact with you. Other information we request is optional.

We collect the following general data that is not personally identifiable information:

• operating system specifications

We do use cookies (a cookie is a small text file that a Web server places on a user's computer hard drive to be a unique identifier). We use cookies to determine if you have been shown a one time advertisement displayed to first time visitors. We do not have access or store any personally identifiable information about you.

The information collected by ChildcareOnline will be used for the purposes of providing a service to you.  Users who provide information may receive additional announcements from us about products, services and special deals.  Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications.

The information we collect will not be used to create customer profiles based on browsing or purchasing history. We will not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties, without your prior consent. We do sometimes offer hyperlinks (links) to other Web sites.  When you click on links to other Web sites, we encourage you to read their privacy policies, as their standards may differ from ours.

If our policy on information collection or uses changes, ChildcareOnline will advise you by email within 48hrs.

ACCESS TO INFORMATION

Users may delete their information from our database if they unsubscribe from our mailing list. If a user wishes to update or make changes to their information, they may do so by contacting ChildcareOnline by email: privacy@childcareonline.co.nz.

All information is stored in New Zealand. ChildcareOnline may protect user information with the following security measures in order to protect consumer privacy:

ChildcareOnline agrees with the New Zealand Bill of Rights Act Section 14, and believes in democratic process. Our privacy statement is in line with the Privacy Act 1993.
