Coast Kindy is the new name of the centre formerly known as Whangaparaoa Baptist Community Kindergarten. We are still Located on the lower level of the Whangaparaoa Baptist Church.
Our aim is to provide a loving, caring, safe environment where each child is encouraged to explore and discover the wonder of God’s created world.
We have 90% Qualified Staff with high teacher : child ratios.
We recognise that each child is an individual with their own unique learning style.
We follow the children's interests and plan our curriculum around those interests.
We focus on Christian values, beliefs and the love of God our Creator.
We are inspired by Reggio Emilia and combine some of their core values with the New Zealand Early Childhood Curriculum

We seek to support and encourage families and have a Family Worker.
We have strong connections within the community of the beautiful Hibiscus Coast and regularly visit our closest beach.
