Glenavon Kindergarten

Kia ora and a warm welcome to Glenavon Kindergarten!

Located right on the grounds of Glenavon School in Blockhouse Bay, Glenavon Kindergarten opened its doors in February 2025 and is proudly operated by AKA.

Our purpose-built centre caters for up to 40 tamariki aged 2 to 5 years, with a passionate team of fully qualified, experienced teachers. With plenty of room to play, explore, and learn, we provide a nurturing and fun environment for early learning.

Families enjoy the convenience of off-street parking through our main Hertford Street entrance, making drop-offs and pick-ups stress-free. There’s also a pedestrian entry from Blockhouse Bay Road via Glenavon School for added flexibility.

Every child can access up to 30 hours free ECE each week, regardless of age.
